A cozy space with quirks
My stay at Verv Islington was quite pleasant with its centrally located position that made it easy to explore local attractions. The communal lounge was also a nice touch, providing a friendly atmosphere to unwind and connect with fellow travelers.
I encountered a few challenges. The self-check-in system was a bit strange at first, and I found the placement of the mirror next to the bed rather awkward. the TV was slow, which hindered my ability to relax in the evenings.

The room had great storage and was clean, but I struggled with the shared bathroom situation in the mornings.

I had a proper laugh! The terrace was a real treat, gave me some nice chill time outdoors. The only snag was the shared bathroom, would’ve fancied a private one. But all in all, a good experience!

Great location for a night out. The self check-in was super easy. My room was clean and comfortable with everything I needed. Perfect for a group staying one night.

missingWrote a review on 14 Novcomfortable bedincluded tvpoor cleaning
The TV's inclusion in the room added a nice touch for winding down at the end of the day despite the issues with access. The room itself featured a comfortable bed, making for decent rest throughout the night.
Several critical aspects fell short, such as the absence of any accessible plug sockets near the lamps, with only one socket available halfway down the room. Cleaning was clearly not prioritized, evidenced by rotting food found under the bed and stale chips mistaken for personal belongings. The advertised terrace turned out to be a non-existent feature, seemingly hidden behind a staff room with no access. the shared bathroom situation posed challenges with only one bathroom for six rooms, complicating morning routines. The self-check-in process was frustrating, requiring sensitive ID information to be emailed without a clear explanation of security measures.

The customer service response was impressively quick. a call for assistance with the entry system received immediate help. A well-equipped kitchen made meal preparation enjoyable, while access to a lovely courtyard provided a nice outdoor retreat. the shared bathroom arrangement proved challenging during peak hours, particularly in the mornings, and having only one common bathroom for multiple rooms led to some inconvenience. despite these issues, the atmosphere offered a cozy, home-like feel.
